The Castle of Kindness is mentoring refugees in Canberra in preparation for a new Australian refugee sponsorship initiative called CRISP which is now being activated in partnership with the federal government.
Castle of Kindness Refugee Sponsorship Group
The Castle of Kindness Refugee Sponsorship Group formed in 2019 in Canberra. Felicity Banks is the coordinator.
The group aims to support refugees to Australia in numerous ways including English practice, introductions to locals and local groups, orientation to the new neighbourhood, assisting with paperwork and employment, and much more.

Money stuff: Donations to the Castle of Kindness are not tax deductible at this stage. If for some reason the Castle of Kindness was unable to sponsor refugees, we would gift all funds raised to another refugee sponsorship group connected to Community Refugee Sponsorship Australia (there are over eighty groups around Australia, and more forming all the time).
